Steve joined the Hellknights 4 years ago after leaving his families farm, where his father was a miller. His father disowned him after disagreeing with Steve's lifestyle and questioning his strength of character, Steve set out to disprove his father's theory that he had no grit. He joined the hellnights and used his knowledge of wizardry, (helpful on the farm) to destroy evil tombs and magics throughout Nidal and Molthune.  He received a bit of unexpected money from a passing relative, allowing him the leisiure to retire and start his own mill, further proving his father wrong.
