How did the character feel about the previous adventure?  Frustration is becoming the key word in Vors' vocabulary. Frustration toward the people we are trying to help. Frustration towards Kaya starting to act extremely spoiled out of her own frustration. Frustration towards Zsu and her new powers that she can't seem to handle and her hair trigger temper. Frustration towards Mynthir and his upcoming departure. FRUSTRATION! What is the character's current objectives? His current objectives are to eliminate this green factory and to hopefully keep the group from imploding. Mynthir seems to be a lost cause. His only hope is that he can convince the boy to stay in Senji as part of the council.  How much did the character enjoy the last adventure? At the risk of sounding like a broken record. As myself I loved the last adventure. Vors on the other hand is ready to commit sepaku. |

Following the instructions on the letter, I arrived here last night. I spent my morning at a town meeting. I noticed Kaya at once and felt a spark of connection to her, though I wonder exactly what it is she does as mayor. A speaker named My'nthir stood out to me as an honorable character. I observed quietly. The townspeople barely noticed my presence, aside from the men staring my body up and down. As if they stand a chance. My'nthir showed me the area and introduced me to key townspeople it may be good to know. Before long, I found myself involved in an adventure with Kaya's group. We made our way to Larck where Ascher and Vors worked to cure a plague in town. I ventured off on my own and despite my stealth a mystical man spotted me. He beckoned me to a magic shop where he described a drug called Green, highly addictive, and it interacts with the plague to turn dead humans into plant creatures. He asked me to bring my party to the alleyway to meet some spriggens. When I returned to the group we decided to attend to a band of evil priests who were raising an army of undead. My luck ran high as I was able to jump from a 30' rooftop onto two of the zombies, eliminating both with one strike. We defeated the priests, taking some as hostages, and then the townspeople began to riot once an old man mysteriously caught fire. Vors healed the man, but the chaos damaged My'nthir's disposition and he was ready to give up on our quest. I asked him to stay, but he wouldn't listen. I can't blame the man for not trusting me. As usual, I feel in fine fettle after the combat, succeeding without even a scratch. These plant creatures are a dangerous nuisance, and the word among my fellow adventurers is that the Sihdron are behind this. I will stay with the party for now, giving myself time to decide whether this Kaya is a worthy cohort. The others appear to be honest associates so far. I will continue to keep my distance while monitoring their actions. |

OOC This whole thing is going to be very OOC. I am sick and it is almost game time. How did the character feel about the previous adventure?  Vors is very frustrated with people who seem to have nothing better to do than make things hard on us when we are trying to help them. What is the character's current objectives? Everywhere we turn there is crisis. It feels like if we take a moment to breath the entire world will fall down around us. Vors wants nothing more right now than to solve this plague issue and focus on the Sihdron. How much did the character enjoy the last adventure? I enjoyed it immensly from a gamer perspective. Vors on the otherhand is really having his faith tested. |

Lords and Lady's of Nidal I wish to warn you of a growing danger in our surrounding region. There is a plague that has taken the small town of Lark. Several of their townspeople have died of this strange affliction and more are ill. It presents as the flu and it can be deceptive to the eye. Upon death the body emanates a black smoke from the rotting corpse. Senji has sent a group to the town with supplies and materials for a cure. Upon our arrival we were met with many clerics of the evil goddess Urgathoa, masquerading as priests of Pharasma, taking advantage of the situation in Lark. They had raised a small undead army and began terrorizing the remaining populace. If we had not arrived when we did, there's no telling how bad things may have gotten. To further complicate matters, the elders of the community took bribes from a band of spriggans to sell an intoxicant called Green to the townspeople. This drug has side effects that causes a person to become a plant-like creature, almost monstrous in nature. We are still in town and are heading to dispatch of the spriggans. We have not decided what to do with the clerics of Urgathoa, although I am certain the townspeople will exact justice. Be wary of people approaching your town who may be ill or whom are traveling from the region. If one presents an illness, quarantine them immediately and contact me straight away. Our healer has the antidote for the illness of black smoke. Take Care Ling Kaya, Mayor of Senji |

Ascher Adventure II Log
Having partially restored his Paladinship, and secure Senji proper, Ascher seeks to cleanse the surrounding regions and establish a foundation to bring the growing nation of Senji into the Light How did Ascher feel about the last adventure? Ascher was glad to have made a friend in Hu Sing, and enjoys helping the people of Senji directly. Of course it was also good to get out and smite some evil. Non-lethal combat is becoming very satisfying, although there are certainly some evils that must be destroyed outright and sent to their appropriate judgments.  How did Keith feel about the last adventure? ASCHER SMASH! Smashing is very fun, non-lethal combat is becoming my new thing. I don't think I have ever tried not to murder every enemy that came my way, so it is very fun to try and be creative and find new ways to disable foes. Also seeing Ascher grow through Hu Sing is very interesting, as I don't think that aspect of Ascher has ever seen daylight. Coming from the streets, into the paladinhood as a knight and enforcer, he hasn't really had much of a chance to just help the sick or impoverished, so that's pretty interesting to me. I really really enjoyed the pacing of this adventure. I enjoy a 30/70 blend of down time and adventuring, with the adventuring split 50/50 into smash time and rp time; puzzle solving, sleuthing, dealing with bullshit. This adventure was right on target. |

ICC How did the character feel about the previous adventure?  We finally made it back with Cid and he's busy tinkering with yet another new invention. Unfortunately, going to rescue Cid cost us days that we could have spent helping cure Lark's plague. We have since discovered that the plague is not the only thing ailing the small town. The elders and guards of the town were bought off by a group of spriggans, evil, malicious fey, and peddled a drug known to have ghastly side effects. Once I thought I may be able to open a trade route or at the very least diplomatic communications with this town. Now I wish only to rid myself of the inconvenience of it. If it were not for the possibility that the spriggans and the plague could spread to Senji, I would turn my back on the whole worthless lot of them. What is the character's current objectives? Kaya wants to cure this plague and dispense of the spriggans. Maintaining communications with these people remains an issue that she struggles with. Among the things that she hates is government corruption. She may not be motivated to do much herself at times, but growing up among the evil inclined Nidal empire makes her abhor such things as these elders have done. On the other hand, she believes that perhaps the people can see that their government has placed them in this position and may perhaps vote or select new leadership that is more inclined to their needs and less willing to take easy money.
How much did the character enjoy the last adventure? Â Kaya is enjoying this adventure. Getting out of town is always a good thing for her, especially after one of the council meetings. And there's the possibility that she may be able to kill something. |
